Match Results

WOMEN'S FOOTBALL

Seniors (Premier) - 1.2.8 Def By South Croydon 17.5.107

Reserves (Division 4) - 4.3.27 Def South Croydon 3.7.25

We came away with split results from Cheong Park on Saturday for the SBL Wolves. Our Reserves side got their third win of the season, proving if you are more accurate than the opposition in front of goals, you will come away with the four points. However, our Seniors had no such luck, against a very strong Bulldogs outfit.

MEN'S FOOTBALL

Seniors - 14.27.111 Def Knox 6.12.48

Reserves - 8.10.58 Def By Knox 13.4.82

U19.5 - 14.5.89 Def South Croydon 7.13.55

Another big win by our Seniors on the weekend. Bursting out of the blocks with a six-goal to two quarter to set up the match for us. It definitely could be said that the final margin of 63-points could have been more if the boys kicked straight (27 behinds) however, we will take the four points in whatever way we can.

Goal Kickers: T. Smith 4, D. Garner 4, S. Brown 4, S. Richards-West, E. Triegaardt

Best Players: D. Garner, T. Smith, N. Keily, B. Connelly, A. Kidd, T. Withers

NETBALL

South Belgrave 16 Def By Waverley Blues 30

Once again, it was a tight tussle in the early stages of the game, however, the Blues kicked into gear and ran away with the win.

The girls have a bye this weekend, before returning the following week for round 12 against Heathmont.

NAB League

The Eastern Ranges backed up their win from last week, to defeat the Calder Cannons 14.6.90 to 8.6.54. It wasn't until the second quarter before the boys took control of the game, and from there never looked back. The Ranges now sit 9th just out of the top eight.

Well done to the SBFNC players in the team!
