Creating a Place for Women in Sport self-assessment



Yarra Ranges Council in conjunction with Manningham City Council, Maroondah City Council and Inspiro have developed the "Creating a Place for Women in Sport self-assessment". The tool aims to assist the club look at different areas in your environment, and recognise how you are going in relation to gender equality.


The purpose of this survey is to provide clubs with a broad range of perspectives, insights and experiences from club members, players, parents and committee members regarding club culture and gender equality.

Yarra Ranges Council is committed to promoting Gender Equity with all our community sporting clubs. Female participation has grown significantly in the last few years and we are committed to assisting clubs in creating an environment where everyone feels safe, included, valued and can participate equally.


We are inviting members, players and committee to complete an anonymous survey to assist South Belgrave Football Netball Club further develop a women in sport action plan.
