Big weekend of Football at South
Round six this week of the 2022 season in the Eastern Football Netball League!
The Netballers take on Nunawading tomorrow night in a bid to return to the winner's list, after back to back losses. The Lions are yet to win a game this season.
Saturday sees a big day of football being played with all Men's and Women's Teams at home. The Senior Women's sides both welcome South Croydon and will brave the early morning conditions with Reserves starting at 8:00 am and Seniors at 9:50 am. Looking to go back to back wins in the Seniors, it will be a big test for our girls against the second-placed Bulldogs.
Our Senior Men's Football sides will welcome East Burwood in the Seniors (3:30 pm) and Reserves (1:30 pm) whilst the U19.5s (11:45 am) will tackle Ringwood. It will be first versus third for the Seniors, and a blockbuster game. The Rams are yet to taste defeat in 2022, however, will have their work cut out for them on our smaller ground, compared to expanses of East Burwood Reserve. Either way, it should be a great game of football, with our boys eager to correct last week's loss.
The Vets are in between rounds, so have this week off, and will play Forest Hill at home on Friday 20th May @ 7 pm.
